Marketplace listings, website SEO, Google Business Profile, email and WhatsApp campaigns, tracked month by month in a scorecard.
SEO and AI searchContent and social media· March 2024 to July 2025
The starting point
A chemicals distributor that wins business through enquiries needed a steady flow of leads from B2B marketplaces, its website and email, and a clear monthly record of what each channel produced.
What we did
- Kept the company's IndiaMART and TradeIndia product listings complete and optimised: titles, descriptions, keywords and images, with new product variations and keyword research every month.
- Built a tool that pulls enquiries from the IndiaMART and TradeIndia APIs into one place with Excel export, running on the company's own server.
- Ran on-page, technical and local SEO for the website and kept the Google Business Profile up to date.
- Added a chatbot to the website, planned and sent email campaigns, and ran a WhatsApp campaign.
- Tracked enquiries from marketplaces, the chatbot, forms, WhatsApp and call buttons, and the Google Business Profile.
- Reported every month in a balanced scorecard, and presented the yearly review and next year's business plan.
