Dashboard for the Poicha site
The starting point
The Poicha and Vadodara facilities needed an easy way to see current conditions and the forecast, and to spot weather that could affect plant operations, without checking several sites.
What we did
- Built a dashboard showing live temperature, rainfall and wind, an hourly forecast and a 7-day outlook for both sites.
- Added a plant advisory panel for Poicha that turns weather into operational risk levels. It is advice only, and final decisions stay with Management and the safety team.
- Added a per-day detail view with a temperature chart, and a radar and satellite overlay.
- Used the free Open-Meteo weather service, so it needs no paid data feed.
- Built it with React, Vite, Tailwind CSS and Recharts.
